Follow-ups – Mashaweer

The Darfur Women’s Platform has called on the international community and organizations to urgently deliver humanitarian aid to the people of El Fasher, as well as to the Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps and the villages affected by the attacks. The platform emphasized the urgent need for basic necessities such as water, food, medicine, and specific supplies for women and children, and called for air drops via UN aircraft to ensure the survival of civilians.

The platform’s statement also stressed the immediate need to shelter victims of sexual violence, including women, girls, and mothers.

It further demanded the provision of medical aid and psychological support for these victims, as well as for people with special needs and children displaced by the war, and called for the monitoring and documentation of all violations committed, with the aim of holding perpetrators accountable under international humanitarian law.
