United Nations: Sudan Conflict a Catastrophic Chapter in the World’s Worst Displacement Crisis

The United Nations has announced that the number of Sudanese who have fled the war to neighboring countries since the conflict began—now entering its third year—has reached 4 million people.

Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, UNHCR spokesperson Eujin Byun described the situation in Sudan as “a catastrophic chapter in the world’s worst displacement crisis.”
