The Emergency Room in Al-Kuma, North Darfur State, has announced a contamination of drinking water in the area amid the total collapse of the local healthcare system.
In a post on Facebook, the committee reported the spread of malaria and widespread malnutrition among children, women, and the elderly.
It warned that the situation could spiral completely out of control unless there is an urgent intervention by international health organizations.
