The Dar Hamar Emergency Committee reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) renewed their assaults on several villages in West Kordofan State.
In a statement, the committee announced that areas under the Aburay administrative unit were attacked by RSF gunmen, who threatened unarmed citizens, terrorized them, looted shops, and stole private property.
The statement described the incident as part of a systematic pattern of assaults aimed at destabilizing security and spreading fear and despair among local residents, in the absence of any protective intervention and amid what it called suspicious regional and international silence.
Meanwhile, the RSF announced that it had downed an army drone in the Al-Khuwei area of West Kordofan.
