During its regular meeting in Port Sudan, chaired by Kamel Idris, the Federal Council of Ministers reviewed a report on the general health situation in the country, with a focus on the spread of dengue fever and malaria.
Federal Health Minister Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim presented the efforts undertaken to control the spread of diseases, prevent new outbreaks, and strengthen public health systems.
Idris, for his part, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continue implementing economic reforms and to promote fiscal and monetary discipline.
He emphasized, during a meeting of the Economic Committee he chaired, the importance of coordination among state institutions to achieve stability and sustainable growth.
