More than 60 people were killed on Saturday in a drone attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a camp for displaced persons in the besieged city of El Fasher, North Darfur, according to a local organization.

The Coordination Committee of Resistance Committees in El Fasher, a local group that documents war violations, said in a statement: “For the second time this Saturday morning, RSF forces bombed a shelter center in the Daraga neighborhood of El Fasher.”

The statement, cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP), reported that the bombing killed 30 people, adding that “some bodies remain inside trenches that had been dug for protection.”

Meanwhile, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a post on X that since the beginning of October, the Saudi Maternity Hospital—the only functioning hospital left in El Fasher—had been attacked three times.

According to Ghebreyesus, those attacks resulted in the deaths of six people, including a child, while 12 others were injured, among them two children and a healthcare worker. The operating room and nearby facilities were also damaged.
