According to field sources, the forces carrying out the operation applied strict inspection procedures and identity verification measures, while maintaining discipline and adherence to legal protocols.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of several suspects and the seizure of stolen goods and illegal items.
The sources indicated that the operations will continue at an increasing pace until full security and order are restored across Omdurman’s neighborhoods, stressing that the authorities will not tolerate any threats to the safety of citizens or their property.
This campaign comes as part of the military command’s broader plan to secure the capital, prevent organized crime, and curb rising incidents of lawlessness, which have escalated recently due to the ongoing security situation.
