RSF Attacks Khartoum with Drones

Reports – Mashawir

Drone attacks targeted the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Wednesday, causing explosions, according to a military source and eyewitnesses cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The military source confirmed that “our air defenses shot down most of the drones. Ten of them were suicide drones that targeted the Sarkab and Khalid bin Al-Waleed military camps north of Omdurman.”

Eyewitnesses from Omdurman reported seeing drones flying over the city’s skies since the early morning hours and hearing loud explosions coming from the northern areas.

One Omdurman resident told AFP that “the drones kept flying and explosions continued from 2 a.m. local time until around 5 a.m.”
