Egyptian–Russian Talks Address Developments in Sudan

Egyptian–Russian talks addressed the latest developments in Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza during a phone call between Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, as part of ongoing coordination and consultations between the two countries on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.

According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the call discussed the close relations between Egypt and Russia and the growing momentum across various areas of cooperation, particularly in the economic and commercial sectors.

Abdelatty expressed Egypt’s pride in the strategic partnership that binds the two countries, describing it as a guiding framework for bilateral cooperation across multiple fields.

He also emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts to advance ongoing cooperation projects, foremost among them the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant, in a way that boosts Russian investments in Egypt and expands cooperation between the two sides.
