35 Killed in Drone Strike on Dilling

Monitoring – Mashawir

At least 35 people, including military personnel, were killed late Tuesday night, and dozens injured, in an airstrike carried out by a drone launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on multiple locations in the city of Dilling, the second-largest city in South Kordofan State.
According to local sources, the attack also targeted the headquarters of the 54th Infantry Brigade of the Sudanese army, in addition to a medical facility where wounded soldiers had been taken for treatment.
Meanwhile, a field commander of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) in Lugoli–Durood, in statements published on the group’s official website, announced that the SPLA had taken control of the oil pumping station in the Kerkiraya area, adjacent to Dilling, pledging to safeguard and protect the oil facilities.
The latest military escalation and ongoing aerial attacks on cities across the state have forced thousands of civilians to flee in harsh waves of displacement toward North Kordofan, amid extremely complex humanitarian conditions.
