Karnoi Emergency Room: 300 People Killed in Ethically Targeted Attacks in Darfur

The Karnoi Emergency Room in North Darfur State reported that approximately 300 people were killed based on their ethnicity during recent battles in the region. The clashes occurred between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Joint Forces of the armed movements supporting the army. According to the report, the RSF stormed civilian areas and carried out executions based on racial and ethnic grounds.
In a statement, the Emergency Room indicated that the RSF has kidnapped dozens of civilians and is demanding ransoms, amidst widespread looting and theft targeting the belongings of women and children.
The statement appealed to humanitarian organizations and the UN Security Council to condemn these violations and to pressure these forces to cease these heinous acts.
