During his meeting today with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Cairo, the U.S. Presidential Advisor for Arab and African Affairs emphasized the necessity for all parties in Sudan to accept a ceasefire without any preconditions.

This came within the framework of discussions focused on promoting regional peace and security.

Boulos noted the ongoing efforts through the United Nations and international partners to provide urgent humanitarian aid to those affected and to end the suffering in Sudan.

It is worth noting that Sudan is experiencing an ongoing armed conflict that has led to a severe humanitarian crisis, with escalating international calls to halt hostilities and facilitate aid access.
