“Sumoud” Alliance Delegation Arrives in Ethiopia to Discuss Ways to End the War and Restore Peace

A delegation from the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Sumoud” arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, today (Monday). The delegation is led by the head of the alliance, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, and coincides with the annual African Union Summit currently taking place.
The visit is part of the “Sumoud” delegation’s ongoing efforts to advocate for an end to the war, the establishment of comprehensive peace in Sudan, and the addressing of the country’s acute humanitarian crisis.
During the multi-day visit, the delegation is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with delegations participating in the AU Summit. These talks will focus on:
* Discussing the evolving situation in Sudan.
* Presenting the “Sumoud” alliance’s vision for achieving peace.
* Urging African nations to redouble their efforts to stop the war in Sudan.
