Drone attack targets Kosti and injures students inside university housing

Drone aircraft targeted the city of Kosti in White Nile State yesterday evening (Sunday), leading to the injury of several people.
Eyewitnesses said they heard the sound of six explosions, and they were unable to determine whether they were missiles fired from strategic drones or from suicide drones, and they accused the Rapid Support Forces of launching these drones.
They said that two of the drones fell inside the Al-Quz dormitory belonging to El Imam El Mahdi University, and two other drones fell near the same site.
Military sources said that anti-aircraft defenses in the city of Kosti in White Nile State were able to deal with a drone after spotting it in the city’s airspace, successfully shooting it down.
Meanwhile, the Sudan Doctors Network said in a statement that 7 students, some of them in critical condition, were injured as a result of the Rapid Support Forces targeting student housing in the city of Kosti with drones.
It pointed out the targeting of a number of civilian objects in the city of Kosti in White Nile State, including the Al-Quz student dormitory, which houses a large number of students.
