Death of Sudanese migrants on the Libyan-Chadian border

An agency specialized in combating irregular migration in eastern Libya announced the death of two Sudanese nationals after a vehicle carrying a group of migrants overturned in a desert area near the Chadian border, approximately 370 kilometers south of the city of Kufra.
The agency stated in a brief report that its patrols reached the site of the accident and found 40 people of various ages in deteriorating humanitarian conditions, after remaining for more than three days without food or water.
The statement explained that the accident led to the death of two people at the scene, while the remaining migrants received first aid before being transferred to a shelter in the city of Kufra to complete procedures and receive care.
