The flow of displaced people from Kurmuk and its surrounding areas in the Blue Nile region toward the city of Al-Damazin continues.
Battles and drone attacks by the Rapid Support Forces and the People’s Liberation Movement caused the displacement of about 2,000 people toward the city over the past few few days.
The displaced people, including children, are suffering from extremely difficult conditions; their tents do not protect them from the heat of the sun nor can they withstand the biting cold.
In light of the tragic reality for the displaced, Sudanese government authorities say that overcoming the crisis requires significant efforts, with contributions from international and local partners from various organizations.
