Sudan Doctors: Rapid Support Forces execute 12 people, including 6 women, in Bara
Bara - Mashaweer
The Sudan Doctors Network said today, Wednesday, that the Rapid Support Forces committed a new massacre in the Shreim Mema area, north of the city of Bara in North Kordofan State.
The network indicated in a statement that these forces executed 12 people in cold blood, including 6 women, and injured three others with varying degrees of severity after accusing them of belonging to the army.
It explained that targeting unarmed civilians in this manner represents a flagrant violation of all humanitarian and international laws and norms, and reflects a dangerous escalation in the pace of violence against innocent people.
The statement continued: We hold the Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for this crime, and we call on the international community to pressure the leaders of those forces who are responsible for these crimes.
