Alarming Humanitarian Conditions for More Than 9,000 Displaced People in Blue Nil

The AlJazeera Observatory for Human Rights has revealed alarming humanitarian conditions in Al-Karama Camp “3” in the city of Ad-Damazin, which hosts 1,860 families, totaling about 9,300 displaced persons.
The Observatory pointed to serious challenges, including rising rates of harassment and a severe shortage of water. The arrival of 126 new families has further increased pressure on already limited resources.
It also highlighted an urgent need for shelter materials and reproductive health services.
Meanwhile, the Blue Nile Emergency Room reported a drone attack in the Maganza area of Bao locality in the region. The attack targeted a vehicle carrying civilians, resulting in casualties among them.
