The Sudanese government rejects its exclusion from the Berlin Conference

Khartoum – Mashawir

The Sudanese government, headed by Kamil Idris, has officially protested its exclusion from participating in the Berlin Conference scheduled for April 15, which aims to discuss the humanitarian situation in Sudan.

It announced its firm rejection of organizing the conference without its approval or consultation regarding all arrangements related to it.

This comes as Sudanese political and civil forces prepare to hold a preparatory meeting in Addis Ababa to reach a unified vision on the humanitarian file to be presented at the conference.

The conference is being organized at the initiative of Germany and the United Kingdom, along with the European Union, France, and the African Union, with participation from the Quad mechanism countries: Saudi Arabia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.
