Renewed protests in Northern Sudan over electricity outages

Protests have resumed in the town of Abri in Northern State due to ongoing power outages and the deterioration of basic services.

Hundreds of residents took to the streets, expressing their anger over continued blackouts and declining electricity supply services, amid rising social tensions in the area.

Protesters raised slogans demanding “fair distribution of electricity” and condemned what they described as unjust power rationing policies.

They pointed out that their areas suffer from prolonged outages that have directly impacted their daily lives and essential services.
