French Envoy to Sudan Calls for Unified International Efforts to Advance Dialogue

France’s Special Envoy for Sudan and the Horn of Africa, Jean-Marie Safa, has called for the international community to unite its efforts in support of a single Sudanese-led dialogue process.
He stressed that rebuilding trust among Sudanese people is the fundamental starting point for ending the war and building a state that embraces all its citizens.
“Dialogue must be stronger than weapons,” he said, warning that the continuation of the war would lead all parties into a deadlock.
Safa also emphasised that France remains committed to Sudan’s unity and supports efforts aimed at restoring peace and renewing hope for the country’s future.
