Gulu Emergency Rooms in Jebel Marra, Central Darfur State, announced the recording of more than 300 cases of measles in Bori area and surrounding villages, including six deaths.
The Emergency Rooms explained in a statement that most cases were recorded among children who had not received vaccinations against the disease.
The statement noted that the health situation requires urgent intervention from the relevant authorities to curb the spread of infection and provide the necessary care for those affected.
