Rights Observatory: 170,000 Missing Since RSF Takeover of El Fasher
Reports – Mashawir

The Human Rights Observatory of the Darfur Youth Organization (MASHAD) reported that the number of people missing since the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) captured the city of El Fasher is estimated at around 170,000.
In a statement, the Observatory said that information gathered from survivors who fled to Tawila and neighboring areas indicates that more than 63,000 civilians have so far escaped from El Fasher, with most having lost between two and three family members during the latest waves of RSF attacks targeting unarmed civilians.
The Observatory called for the deployment of an independent international fact-finding mission to investigate mass graves and violations against civilians, urging the immediate provision of humanitarian protection for displaced persons and refugees, the establishment of safe corridors for aid delivery, and the accountability of those responsible for crimes in accordance with international law and the principle of no impunity.
