Health situation reports issued by the Sudanese Ministry of Health revealed that 132 cases of viral hepatitis were recorded in Al Jazirah and Blue Nile states during the past week.
The Ministry also reported four cases of heatstroke at the Argeen border crossing and seven cases of cholera in West Kordofan State.
The reports indicated a decline in dengue fever infections, with 143 cases recorded across the country during the same week.
Regarding precautionary measures against the Ebola virus, the Health Promotion Report confirmed the dissemination of awareness messages through social media platforms and the launch of an integrated nutrition campaign in nine states.
