The Emergency Rooms Council of Al-Tina locality stated that “the humanitarian situation in the locality and surrounding areas is experiencing severe deterioration due to ongoing waves of displacement over a long period, following attacks that targeted civilians in their homes, accompanied by grave violations and assaults on property.”
In a statement, the council noted that “this situation has led to the displacement of large numbers of residents from various localities and areas, including Abu Qumra, Ad Al-Khair, Loka, Girjaira, Khazan Basao, Abuliha, Ambro, Qadeer, Shartaba, and Jarbuki, from March 2025 up to the current month of April, under harsh humanitarian conditions lacking the most basic necessities of life.”
It added that “most of the displaced lack sources of income and livelihoods, which has worsened their suffering and left them unable to secure their basic needs, placing them in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.”
The council also pointed out that “the total number of affected families has reached 5,700, noting that these figures are not fixed due to the ongoing large-scale and continuous influx of displaced people.”
