The Head of the European Union Mission to Sudan, Wolfram Vetter, said he is “deeply concerned about the escalating violence in Sudan and the drone strikes near Khartoum Airport, which are putting civilians, infrastructure, and humanitarian aid at risk.”
He added, “For the sake of the Sudanese people, the leadership of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces must bring this conflict to an end.”
Vetter also addressed external actors, stating: “Stop fueling the crisis and work toward achieving regional stability.”
