The Protection Office of the North Darfur Emergency Rooms Council organized an interactive recreational event for displaced children at the Bobaya Center in Tawisha locality, North Darfur State, as part of its efforts to provide psychosocial support and help children cope with the emotional impact of war and displacement.
The event attracted a large number of children from the surrounding community and displacement centers. It featured a variety of recreational and interactive activities designed to create a safe and supportive environment, promote a sense of security, and help children regain a measure of normalcy in their daily lives.
Speaking to Mashaweer, Ahmed Boush, a member of the North Darfur Emergency Rooms Council, said the initiative is part of the council’s commitment to supporting the mental well-being of displaced children and mitigating the psychological effects of the ongoing crisis through activities that bring joy and encourage social interaction.
Boush also affirmed that the council will continue implementing programs that respond to the needs of children and other groups most affected by the conflict.
