With the war in Sudan nearing its second year, the future of education in conflict zones remains uncertain. Many families continue to face displacement, loss of documentation, and unclear prospects for resuming studies back home. It is now more urgent than ever to support these families and help secure the right to education for their children in exile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Girls\u2019 Right Initiative issues this urgent appeal to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

\u00a0The Sudanese Embassy in Qatar<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0The Sudanese School in Doha<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Private and charitable educational institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

We call for:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a01. Waiving or significantly reducing school fees for displaced Sudanese girls whose families are unable to pay due to the crisis.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a02. Accepting temporary or incomplete documentation for children who lost their papers due to war and displacement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a03. Providing psychological and social support for girls suffering from war trauma and interrupted schooling.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

We trust in Qatar\u2019s leadership in education and its care for children\u2019s rights. Likewise, we urge Sudanese community institutions to rise to their humanitarian and national duty during this difficult time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
