The Sudanese Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, Salwa Adam Benya, announced today (Friday) the arrival of the Sudanese government’s first relief convoy to the cities of Kadugli and Dilling in South Kordofan State, carrying approximately 2,250 tons of aid.<\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

The Commissioner launched the relief convoy for South Kordofan State consisting of food and shelter materials from the city of Port Sudan to support citizens affected by the war.<\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

In press statements, the Commissioner reported that the convoy includes 45 trucks, each carrying about 50 tons of food and various relief supplies.<\/h4>\n
