The attacks caused electricity outages across large areas of the capital and other states.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">A drone strike on a market in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, killed 21 people and wounded dozens more. The attack came just days after a deadly assault on a market in the disputed Abyei area along the border with South Sudan.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">The two latest attacks occurred amid escalating reciprocal airstrikes between the warring parties, which have increasingly become a daily occurrence.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">On Tuesday, widespread power outages hit Khartoum State following a drone attack on the Al-Markhiyat transformer station in northwestern Omdurman, forcing it out of service.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">Local sources said Khartoum residents had already been experiencing daily electricity cuts lasting between 10 and 12 hours before the latest outage.
