They also included 64 cases of legal prosecution and 47 complaints filed under cybercrime laws.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">The syndicate further reported five cases of enforced disappearance in which the whereabouts of the individuals concerned remain unknown.<\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\">It called for independent investigations, an end to legal prosecutions targeting journalists, and the repeal of legal provisions that restrict press freedom.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Sudanese Journalists\u2019 Syndicate has documented 673 violations against journalists since the outbreak of the war up to 30 June 2026.
