Activists Warn of Militia Movements Preparing for Attack on El-Obeid
Mashawir – Reports

Activists from Kordofan have raised alarms on social media platforms, warning of intensive militia movements and mobilization involving personnel, armored vehicles, artillery, and drones, in preparation for a multi-front assault on El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State.
According to the activists, the RSF militias have been relocating large numbers of fighters from Al-Nuhud and gathering them in the Al-Khuwei area, while also reinforcing their presence west of Bara, with the aim of launching a coordinated attack on El-Obeid from the north and northwest.
They also reported the arrival of significant reinforcements for the Rapid Support Forces in Abu Zabad, provided by their allies in the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North (SPLM–N), led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu, along with other troop concentrations in Al-Debeibat, Al-Hammadi, and Kazgeil.
