The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) warned onThursday that food aid in Sudan will run out within two months due to a funding shortage, according to a report by Agence France-Presse.
The program emphasized that without immediate additional funding, millions of people will be deprived of vital food assistance within weeks.
It noted that food rations have already been reduced to the minimum level necessary for survival.
“By the end of March, we will have exhausted our food stocks in Sudan,” the WFP added.
