Central and West Darfur regions are facing a severe fuel crisis and sharp increases in commodity prices amid widespread security breakdown.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) currently control Central and West Darfur, as well as East and South Darfur and large parts of North Darfur.
According to local residents, the crisis began three months ago following the unexplained halt of fuel shipments crossing the border from Chad.
