Worsening Humanitarian Conditions for Displaced People in Kordofan Spark Urgent Appeals for Aid
Follow-ups – Mashawir

Activists and volunteers have reported that displaced people fleeing the towns of Al-Nuhud, Al-Khuwei, Al-Dibibat, and Kazgeil are facing dire humanitarian conditions due to the lack of shelter, food, hygiene supplies, and essential medical and health services. They also noted the absence of any meaningful government support.
The activists have called on government authorities and humanitarian organizations to urgently dispatch relief convoys and provide on-the-ground assistance to alleviate the growing suffering—particularly as the upcoming rainy season is expected to worsen the situation.
Volunteers also revealed a severe deterioration in humanitarian conditions in the besieged cities of Kadugli and Dilling in South Kordofan, where routes in and out have been blocked by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
According to the volunteers, residents in both cities are facing acute shortages of food, essential goods, and medicine, while growing difficulties prevent patients and the wounded from leaving the area or receiving any form of external assistance.
