Floods and Heavy Rains Sweep Through North Darfur, Destroy Homes and Displace Residents
Reports – Mashawir

Flash floods and heavy rains that struck the Dar Al-Salam area in North Darfur over the past two days have partially or completely destroyed 124 homes and displaced around 100 families, further worsening the displacement crisis and the looming humanitarian catastrophe in the state.
Residents of El Fasher continue to endure a deepening humanitarian crisis and chronic suffering, exacerbated by growing hunger due to the siege imposed on the city by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for over a year.
The RSF stated on its social media platforms that its forces are advancing steadily and strategically to tighten their grip on El Fasher in preparation for a full-scale assault on the city.
They also published photos and video clips of their soldiers inside the livestock market mosque in the city.
