World Food Programme: Hunger Puts Millions at Imminent Risk in 5 Countries, Including Sudan
Updates – Mashawir

The World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that hunger is worsening, putting millions of people at imminent risk in five countries, including Sudan.
According to the WFP, 24.6 million people in Sudan do not have enough food.
The programme added: “The WFP is working to provide urgent support, as food assistance saves lives.”
Reports indicate that the ongoing war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has caused the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, with nearly half of the population facing an escalating food shortage.
