Children in Dilling Hold Banners Demanding Safe Corridors for Humanitarian Aid

Dozens of children in the city of Dilling, the second-largest city in South Kordofan State, held banners calling for the opening of safe corridors to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.

Forces of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army–North, led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu and allied with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), have blocked the road connecting Kadugli and Dilling in North Kordofan State.

The siege of Dilling and Kadugli has cut off the delivery of commercial convoys and humanitarian aid to both cities for an extended period.

In recent weeks, signs of hunger and shortages of food supplies and medicines have been growing in South Kordofan.
