11 Casualties in Drone Strike on North Kordofan

Reports – Mashawir

The Sudanese army announced today (Saturday) that five members of a single family were killed in a drone strike carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), targeting a village in North Kordofan State.

In a statement, the office of the Sudanese army spokesperson said: “In continuation of its ongoing record of violations against civilians and war crimes, RSF drones last night targeted the village of Awlad Al-Sharif in Al-Induraba on the export road, resulting in the martyrdom of a family of five, including two young girls.”

The statement added that six other residents of the village were also injured in the strike.

This marks the second incident in the army-controlled town. On August 20, the Sudanese Red Crescent Society reported that its burial management team—responsible for the safe and proper handling of bodies—was struck by a projectile at its residence in Al-Induraba, injuring team members and destroying two vehicles bearing the Red Crescent emblem. No party was held responsible for that attack.
