Hospitals’ Inability to Provide Services Doubles Patients’ Suffering in El Fasher

Medical sources in El Fasher said that the lives of dozens of wounded people are now at serious risk amid shortages of blood, the absence of gauze and medical supplies, and the inability of hospitals to continue providing treatment for the injured.
As hunger worsens due to the escalating food crisis, the cholera outbreak continues to spread. The number of deaths has risen to 423, while the number of cases since the outbreak began has reached 10,662 across Darfur, according to the General Coordination of Displaced Persons.
The Coordination of Resistance Committees in El Fasher announced in a statement that six civilians were killed and others injured in a drone attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the Abu Shouk neighborhood of the city.
