El-Fasher Resistance Calls for Attention to the Humanitarian Crisis
Reports – Mashawir

The Coordination of the El-Fasher Resistance Committees issued an urgent appeal to draw attention to the city’s worsening humanitarian crisis, accompanied by a photo of a displaced woman who fled the flames of war, sitting beside the body of her daughter who died of hunger during their flight.
The coordination condemned “the world’s silence over the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in El-Fasher caused by siege and starvation, which has led to the deaths of 239 children in the city before their mothers’ eyes.”
They asked, “Why are their stories not told? Why are their tragedies not reported? Why does the world remain silent, as if hunger does not kill, as if tears cannot be heard?”
The statement continued: “Do not let your compassion be selective. We are one people, one body; if one part suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
The coordination added, “Do not fail this moral and humanitarian test. The taste of betrayal is more bitter than gall. Ask the people of El-Fasher if you doubt it — they have tasted it and know the pain of silence.”
