Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty revealed serious proposals and ideas to announce a humanitarian truce in Sudan.
He explained that Egypt is conducting contacts and coordination with the American side to reach an agreement to stop the war in Sudan.
Abdelatty stressed that Egypt is moving with all its diplomatic weight on the humanitarian axis first, as opening relief corridors and delivering aid to besieged civilians represents a top priority that cannot be delayed, provided that the humanitarian truce leads to a permanent ceasefire that paves the way for a comprehensive political settlement.
He categorically emphasized that no country outside of Sudan can decide its fate, noting that the real solution to the crisis must be purely Sudanese, reflecting the will of the Sudanese people and preserving its territorial integrity and the cohesion of its national fabric.
