The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Sudan stated that it is shocked by the attack on a hospital in East Darfur, which resulted in the death of dozens, including children, and injured others.
In a post on the X platform, it added that such attacks are unacceptable, and civilians and healthcare workers must be protected, not targeted.
The OCHA office urged the parties to the conflict in Sudan to respect international humanitarian law.
The two sides of the conflict in Sudan are constantly exchanging drone attacks, which leads to the targeting of civilian objects and residents in several cities and regions of the country.
