Intensive Meetings to Discuss Ceasefire in Sudan

Khartoum – Mashawir

Intensive meetings have gained momentum to discuss ending the war in Sudan, as the United States administration has begun responding to a proposal submitted by the Sudanese government regarding the next steps.

A meeting was held in Khartoum between the Sudanese government and an Arab country involved in the ceasefire , where discussions focused on troop deployment areas and arrangements for a potential truce.

Meanwhile, U.S.-led consultations included Germany, Belgium, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, aiming to resume negotiations.

Washington’s proposal reportedly incorporates more than ten elements from the Sudanese plan as part of its broader vision to halt the conflict.
