Deaths and injuries following shelling by Rapid Support Forces on El Obeid city
North Kordofan – Mashawir
Seven people were killed and 22 others injured as a result of a drone attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on residential neighborhoods in the city of El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State in western Sudan, according to the Sudan Doctors Network.
The network confirmed that the attack did not target military sites, but instead resulted in civilian casualties, describing it as a violation of humanitarian and international laws and norms.
The network held the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for the attack.
It also called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to exert pressure to stop what it described as repeated attacks on civilians.
