Participants in the Nairobi Meeting Stress the Importance of a Comprehensive Political Solution to End the War

The opening session of the meeting of the Sudanese Declaration of Principles Forces for Building a New Nation began yesterday (Friday) in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, with broad participation from political and civilian leaders.
The discussions focused on the importance of dialogue, coordination, and joint action among Sudanese men and women in order to end the war and achieve peace and stability in the country.
The opening session was addressed by Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, Abdel Wahid Mohamed Al-Nur, Ali Al-Rayeh Al-Sanhouri, Dr. Siddiq Al-Zailai, and Nafisa Hajar, in addition to a closing contribution by the poet Alam Abbas.
Participants emphasized the importance of unifying national efforts and strengthening dialogue among the various Sudanese forces, while stressing the need for coordination and collective action to reach a comprehensive political solution that would help end the war and fulfill the Sudanese people’s aspirations for peace, democracy, and stability.
