The Dar Hamar Emergency Room has accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of evacuating the main hospital in the city of En Nahud, West Kordofan State, and converting it into a medical facility exclusively for its fighters, staffed by a foreign medical team.
In a statement, the Emergency Room said that patients were forcibly removed from the hospital at gunpoint before the facility was transformed into what it described as a military base providing medical care to RSF personnel.
The statement added that En Nahud is experiencing a severe deterioration in humanitarian conditions, with large numbers of residents displaced and hospitals and health centers no longer operational, depriving civilians of access to essential healthcare services.
It further stated that the city, once a major commercial and economic hub in West Kordofan State, has become nearly deserted due to what it described as killings, looting, and intimidation that accompanied the RSF’s takeover of the area.
