The UK Foreign Office is organizing a meeting on the situation in Sudan at Wilton Park, scheduled to take place from July 22 to July 24.
According to sources, Sudanese politicians will not be invited to attend the discussions. Instead, invitations will be extended to academics, analysts, and representatives of Sudanese civil society.
A Sudanese academic, who spoke to Asharq on condition of anonymity, revealed that she had received an invitation to participate in the meetings in the United Kingdom.
Several European countries are continuing to make significant diplomatic efforts to help end the war in Sudan and promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
