Deling Emergency Response Rooms Provide Humanitarian Assistance to Displaced People
Deling – Mashaweer
The Emergency Response Rooms in Deling locality, South Kordofan State, continue their efforts to provide assistance to the most vulnerable families amid the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the state. Their interventions focus on meeting the basic needs of displaced people and affected communities.
Adel Saeed, a member of the Deling Emergency Response Room, told Mashaweer that “the room implemented a food basket distribution project in the Jild area, in Mandari village, north of the locality, benefiting 300 vulnerable and displaced families.”
He explained that “the project was implemented with support from the South Kordofan State Emergency Response Rooms Coordination Council.”
He noted that “the support contributes to coordinating humanitarian efforts, expanding the scope of interventions, and reaching new areas in need of assistance.”
Saeed affirmed the continuation of coordination between the South Kordofan Emergency Response Rooms Coordination Council and local emergency response rooms to expand humanitarian interventions and reach civilians most in need across different parts of the state.
