Several areas in South Kordofan State have witnessed landmine explosions, posing a growing threat to civilians as incidents continue to occur in various locations, particularly along key roads.
These recurring incidents highlight the increasing danger to the lives of residents and vehicles traveling on vital roads relied upon by villagers to transport goods, sell their crops, and move livestock.
According to activists, this is not the first time such explosions have occurred in the state, as similar incidents have been reported more than three times since the beginning of this year.
Reports reveal that over 20 Sudanese have been killed and about 50 injured by landmines and remnants of war since the conflict began more than two years ago up until June 7.Reports – Mashawir
